Ordered a washed Ethiopian and a Colombian natural. Both bags had roast dates within the week and the Ethiopian was properly floral on a V60. Little handwritten thank-you card inside. Not the cheapest, but you're paying for freshness you can taste.

Coffee is excellent and the tasting notes online are accurate, which is rare. Dispatch was next day but the parcel then sat in a Royal Mail depot for four days. Not their fault, but a tracked courier option at checkout would be welcome for bigger orders.

Six months into the monthly subscription. Each bag is different, they email what's coming and why, and pausing when I go away takes one click. Have discovered coffees I'd never have picked myself. My local café now buys from them too.

Asked for espresso grind, received something closer to filter. Shots ran through in 12 seconds. Emailed and got a reply two days later offering a replacement, which is fair, but I'd already binned half the bag trying to make it work.

Popped in while in Deptford and got a free flat white with my bag. The person roasting talked me through the process for ten minutes. Have ordered online three times since and the quality hasn't dipped. Exactly what a small roaster should be.

Bought the sugarcane decaf for evenings. Sweet, chocolatey, no cardboard flavour. Delivery took two days. Will be my regular decaf from now on.
