Ran speed tests with and without it on my fibre line and lost maybe 3%. Streams fine on the TV, the kill switch has saved me twice on hotel wifi, and the Mac app just stays out of the way. Renewed for another two years.

Signed up on a two-year promo. It quietly renewed at £120 for one year, charged a week before the old plan even ended. No reminder email that I could find. Support offered a refund only after I pushed, and it took ten days to appear. The VPN works, the billing is a trap.

The Windows app kept logging me out after an update. Chat agent asked for a log file, came back within an hour with a fix, and it hasn't happened since. Refreshing to talk to someone who knew the product.

Connection is fast and I've never had it drop mid-call. The desktop app, though, keeps pushing password managers, cloud storage and threat protection I didn't buy. A simple 'connect and hide the rest' mode would make it perfect.

Banking apps and a couple of shopping sites refuse to load while connected, so I'm constantly toggling it off. Switching servers sometimes helps, sometimes not. Fine for streaming, but it gets in the way of daily browsing more than I expected.

Used it on trips through a dozen countries and it has always connected. Occasional 'session expired' logins on the phone are the only irritation. Price at renewal was higher than the sign-up deal, but I knew that going in.
